NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING AND INSPECTION PROPOSED BUDGET | LOMPOC UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT

The proposed 2025-2026 budget for the Lompoc Unified School District (LUSD) will be available for public inspection at the LUSD Education Center, Reception Desk, 1301 North A Street, Lompoc, CA 93436, on June 6, 2025, during regular working hours.

The public hearing on said budget will be held on June 10, 2025, at 5:30 p.m. at the LUSD Education Center Board Room, 1301 North A Street, Lompoc.

The budget adoption meeting will be held on June 24, 2025, at 5:30 p.m. at the LUSD Education Center Board Room.

Welcome to Cabrillo High School - Home of the Conquistadores!

Cabrillo is a special place. I have spent the last 10 years here at Cabrillo and will be entering my third year as principal starting in August 2025. I am consistently impressed by our students, families, and staff. 

We do our best to provide a quality educational experience for our school community. This is evident both inside and outside the classroom setting. We offer a variety of Advanced Placement and Dual Enrollment (college) courses. We also provide elective opportunities for students to participate in the Visual and Performing Arts, Career Technical courses, World Languages, and Athletics. Additionally, we also have a very unique and fantastic Aquarium program led by students supported by faculty. 

Founded in 1965, we have many faculty and staff members who themselves graduated from Cabrillo and have returned to give back to our wonderful community.
